Hitech Equipment Ltd is set up in such a manner as to optimise national coverage. One depot operates from Paisley, Scotland with the English interest being based in the industrial area of Ellesmere Port, England. This provides a network across the country that allows us to realistically service the entire country. While the two depots run as separate entities, there is synergy in their operations and work teams can seamlessly fit into either operation. This ensures that peaks and toughs in operational demand are met without any disruption to the client.
The management teams at both depots work together to ensure that standards remain at the highest possible level throughout the company. This close working relationship between the two depots ensures that the specialist knowledge and wealth of experience within the company is enjoyed by both the North and South depots.
One of Hitech's primary aims is to provide a total waste management service to our clients. We will tackle anything whatsoever of an industrial cleaning or waste disposal nature. Historically we have tackled problems that others have declined and in so doing have built a confidence in our customers that encourages them to approach us with any industrial problems. If we are unable to directly solve a problem, we will direct the customer towards a specialist or enlist their services direct to be encapsulated within our package to the client. This approach has stood us in good stead and over the course of months and years we have watched as the scope of works we offer has grown out of all recognition.
The natural direction of our services has always maintained a waste related basis and it was a natural progression from waste disposal to waste treatment and ultimately waste minimisation. Depending on the size of a customer's effluent problems, we will design, install, manage and maintain an on site effluent plant for them. This is the latest step forward in our total waste management approach and can be attained on the back of existing services such as drain cleaning and liquid disposal. Each customer is an individual and all sites are thoroughly assessed to ensure the customer receives the best solution for their particular issues. After assessment, it may be that the cost of a waste treatment plant cannot be justified when offset against disposal and Water Authority charges for discharge to sewer. In such an event, we continue to dispose of waste off site while monitoring the cost benefits until the stage when the effluent treatment plant becomes the most viable and economic solution.
This displays the overall concept of the company - that is to move forward and grow with our customers. We aim to build relationships - not billable hours! This attitude has allowed us to develop strong confidence from our customer and ensures that we know their problems and understand their industry and the specific challenges created within it. When we gain a new client, we are in for the "long haul" not the "short term fix" and hope that in so doing, we ensure a sustained longevity for both our selves and our customer's solutions to all effluent issues.
