The onset of legislation has placed demands on companies to pre-treat wastes prior to landfill. Hitech has taken this to the next level with our contaminant extraction process.
Using state of the art German technology, Hitech can split out the hazardous content from wastes such as rags, granules, gloves, overalls, packaging, drums, IBCs
The hazardous waste content - normally oil - is then treated appropriately as a hazardous waste through Hitech's facility. The remainder of the waste then become re-categorised as a non-hazardous waste and is disposed of appropriately. In certain instances, particularly with rags and PPE, there is an option to completely close the recycling loop by having the material processed and returned as a product to the client.
Many waste producers have recently had waste fail the WAC analysis resulting in the waste stream being rejected for landfill disposal. Hitech offers the solution to this dilema and we are delighted to either collect the waste and transport it to our treatment facility for the customer or accept the waste at our site from other waste carrier companies.
